1. Who we are and what this policy covers
SEOSID LLC ("SEOSID", "we", "us") is a digital marketing and software company. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you:
- visit seosid.com or contact us (forms, email, phone, WhatsApp or chat);
- use our agency services (SEO, advertising, web design and related work); or
- use the SEOSID app at app.seosid.com, the SEOSID WordPress plugin or the SEOSID Shopify app (together, the "SEOSID software").
The SEOSID software has its own detailed policy at app.seosid.com/privacy, including how we handle data from Google and Microsoft APIs. If the two ever differ for the software, the app policy applies.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company name, website address, and anything you write in a form, email, call or message. If you become a client or create an account, also billing details, contracts, and the logins or account access you choose to give us for the work.
Information collected automatically on seosid.com: pages visited, referring pages, browser and device type, approximate location from your IP address, and interactions with our pages, collected with cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).
Information from client accounts: when you give us access to services such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Meta, your website or online store, we access the data in them only to deliver the work you hired us for.
Information in the SEOSID software: account details, the websites you add and their public pages, content you create, and, only if you connect them, data from Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, WordPress or Shopify. Details are in the app privacy policy.
3. How we use information
- To reply to enquiries, prepare audits and proposals, and provide the services and software you ask for.
- To manage accounts, billing, support and security.
- To send service emails (for example reports you switched on, billing and security notices) and, where you agreed, marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing at any time with the unsubscribe link or by replying "unsubscribe".
- To understand how seosid.com is used and to measure and improve our advertising.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Google user data in the SEOSID software
If you connect Google Search Console to the SEOSID software, we request read-only access to your Search Console data and your Google account email. We use it only to show you your search performance, track the keywords you choose and build reports you request. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to train AI models, and we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the features you use, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. You can disconnect at any time; we then delete your Google tokens and the stored Search Console data.
SEOSID's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. When we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, under contracts that limit their use of it, and only as much as each one needs:
- hosting and email (for example Hostinger and our email provider);
- payments (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify); we never see or store full card details;
- analytics and advertising (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads);
- communications (for example Twilio, if you contact us by phone, SMS or WhatsApp);
- AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) to generate content and suggestions in the SEOSID software; Google user data is not sent to them;
- SEO data providers (for example DataForSEO) for keyword and search-results data; only keywords and target locations are sent.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
6. Cookies, analytics and advertising
seosid.com uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads (conversion measurement and remarketing). These may show you SEOSID ads on other websites based on your visit. See our Cookie Policy. You can control ad personalisation at Google Ads Settings and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
7. How long we keep information
Enquiries we keep for up to 3 years unless you become a client. Client and account records we keep while the relationship lasts and for up to 7 years afterwards where needed for legal, tax or accounting reasons. Data in the SEOSID software is deleted when you remove it or close your account, as described in the app policy. Access you gave us to client accounts should be removed by you when our work ends; we stop using it at that point.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections, encrypted storage of passwords, tokens and API keys, access controls and audit logs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send passwords or payment details through our contact forms.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our team and service providers may process information in other countries. Where the law requires, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU, the UK GDPR, or US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. To make a request, email sales@seosid.com; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performing a contract with you, our legitimate interests (running and improving our business and marketing, in a way that respects your rights), your consent (for example marketing cookies and emails), and legal obligations.
11. Children
Our website, services and software are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell SEOSID software account owners about important changes by email.
